What I Can Help With
I take an integrative approach — drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and psycho-education — and tailor it to what each client actually needs. These are the areas I specialize in, but if you're not sure whether I'm the right fit, just reach out.
Anxiety
Anxiety can show up as constant worry, panic attacks, restlessness, or a persistent feeling of dread. Together we'll explore the roots of your anxiety, develop coping strategies, and build the tools to quiet the "what if" spiral.
Depression
Depression isn't just sadness — it's the flatness, the withdrawal, the loss of things that used to feel meaningful. Therapy can help you reconnect with motivation, joy, and a sense of purpose.
Relationship Issues
Relationships are complicated. Whether it's communication breakdowns, conflict patterns, attachment issues, or navigating difficult dynamics, therapy offers a space to work through it honestly.
Life Transitions
Career changes, divorce, loss, moving, becoming a parent, entering a new life chapter — transitions can shake your sense of self. Therapy helps you navigate change with clarity and confidence.
Stress Management
Chronic stress wears the body and mind down over time. We'll work on identifying your stressors, building resilience, and developing practical coping skills for daily pressures.
Self-Esteem
The way you talk to yourself matters. Therapy helps you challenge negative self-beliefs, build genuine confidence, and develop the self-compassion you'd extend to anyone else you care about.
Grief & Loss
Grief takes many forms — the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a lost opportunity, a version of yourself you've had to let go of. There's no right way to grieve; I'll meet you where you are.
Codependency
Codependency patterns can make it hard to know where you end and others begin. Therapy helps you develop healthier boundaries, a stronger sense of self, and more balanced relationships.
Women's Mental Health
Women's emotional lives are shaped by biology, hormones, relationships, and roles in ways that deserve dedicated, informed care. I offer specialized support across every stage.
Perinatal Mental Health
The perinatal period — from conception through the first year postpartum — is one of the most emotionally complex seasons of a woman's life. I provide support for pregnancy anxiety, postpartum depression and anxiety (PPD/PPA), birth trauma, and the identity shift of becoming a mother.
Perimenopause & Menopause
The hormonal transition of perimenopause can bring unexpected mood swings, anxiety, irritability, sleep disruption, and a profound questioning of identity. Therapy offers a space to make sense of these changes — and to move through them with intention rather than fear.
Hormonal & Cycle Health
For many women, emotional well-being is deeply tied to the hormonal cycle. PMDD, PMS-related depression and anxiety, and cycle-linked mood fluctuations are real, valid, and treatable. Together we'll track patterns, build coping strategies, and work toward greater emotional consistency.
Women's Identity & Self-Worth
Societal expectations, relationship dynamics, caregiving roles, and life transitions all shape how women see themselves. Therapy provides a space to untangle those layers — and to build a sense of self that belongs to you.
Integrative, Not Scripted
No two clients are the same, so no two sessions look exactly alike. I pull from several evidence-based approaches depending on what you need in a given moment:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Helps identify and reframe thought patterns that keep you stuck in cycles of anxiety, depression, or unhelpful behavior.
- Mindfulness-Based Practices Grounding techniques and present-moment awareness to reduce reactivity and build emotional regulation.
- Psycho-education Understanding the "why" behind what you're feeling — because insight is the first step to real change.
- Person-Centered Therapy At the foundation of everything: genuine, non-judgmental presence. The therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most powerful agents of change.
